Today I went to the gym to do Boxing from 5:30pm to 6:30pm but decided against it as my wrist was acting up. I have tendonitis in my wrist caused from too much knitting so I have to rest my wrist for ten days. I ended up taking Advil. My wrist feels better now. So I just sat and watched the Boxing. You can pick up some good techniques from watching Boxing. Afterwards I went to a Vietnam Restaurant and tried traditional Vietnam soup for the first time. The soup was really tasty and good. Oh the other thing is that country music has really grown on me. Two of my favorite country singers are Sara Evans and Shania Twain. My favorite country song right now by Sara Evans is called "Slow Me Down".

A Penny on the Sidewalk

Small and round in size

Fits in a coin purse

And it’s only one cent

Living in a Time Warp

Each day that comes is like Groundhog Day.

I’m not getting anywhere in life.

At this moment in time I feel as if everyone is against me

I even hate where I live and feel as if the place I live and the people in it are no good.

I’m living in a time warp and I don’t like it

 

I too have dreams, goals, hopes and wishes for myself

I want to accomplish things, achieve things and make the world a better place

But I can’t for I’m living in a time warp and I feel stuck.

 

There are times when I am negative, and there are times when I am rude, for things have happened in my life which I regret.

There are times when I hurt other peoples feeling, there are times when I get mad at other people for I hate some of the stuff that has happened in my life and I get frustrated and angry.

I wish people would see things from my point of view

I wish people would put themselves in my shoes if only for just one minute of their lives

I wish I could have taken back some of the choices that I have made up to this point in my life.

This morning I created two new drawings in pen as a way to let out my inner creativity, I like being creative and I try to be creative by drawing weird and strange pictures. Sometimes I turn to drawing and art in general when I am feeling sad and want to feel happy again. Art can be a way to uplift my mood. I am going to post my latest three pieces of art work.

Music

All people are musicians. Not everyone is great at music but still all people are musicians. There are famous well known musicians, there are average musicians and then there are ordinary musicians. I am an ordinary musician. The first instrument I learned how to play was piano. I tried some flute lessons. I played guitar and recorder in elementary school. In middle school I played clarinet and saxophone. I tried alto clarinet and harmonica lessons. I was in a choir for a few years. In high-school I played clarinet. Now as an adult I play recorder, harmonica and am learning how to play the ukulele. Eventually I would like to play flute in a community band.

Crazy Pen Drawings

On Friday March, 14, 2015 late in the evening I curled up with some scrap paper as I am an individual who dislikes wasting paper and I began to create some strange drawings in pen. I used to never create strange drawings but my older brother Wesley who I look up to inspired me to let out my inner weirdness in the form of ink drawings and I took to the idea with a lot of interest and excitement.
