A Penny on the Sidewalk

 

Shiny and bronze in color

Small and round in size

Fits in a coin purse

And it’s only one cent

 

A picture of the queen on one side

A maple leaf and numbers on the other side

 

It’s a good luck symbol for people around the world

 

I pick up the penny

And make a wish

Then into my pocket it goes

To be later stored in my coin purse
